Family is the most important thing to us. In fact, family is everything. We love spending time together and it really doesn't matter what we are doing. Some of the things that we have enjoyed doing this year include going swimming as a family (okay, we have been going swimming ALOT since it is one of Claire favorite things to do), taking the Parent/Child swimming lessons since Claire is too young to take them without a parent, watching movies on the patio, working in the garden, roasting marshmallows over the firepit, going camping, bike rides in the evening, showing Claire how to fly a kite, playing with our remote control cars, playing croquet, sitting on the porch and watching Claire run through the sprinklers, playing basketball in the driveway (neither of us are any good though), trips to the park, and playing with cousins. We just love being together as a family.

We feel it is important for our children to experience different things and we enjoy taking Claire to museums, the aquarium, Tracy Aviary, and the zoo. When she gets older we look forward to taking her to plays and concerts too.
Traditions are also important to us. Family campouts, making and delivering Valentine cookies, bottling homemade jam each summer, fishing trips, seeing the Christmas lights at Temple Square....there are so many traditions that are a part of our family. We are always looking for new traditions to start too. If there is a tradition that is important to you and want it to continue with your child after placement, please let us know.
We hope to raise our childen to be happy, honest, loving, confident, and hard-working.
